HHCC 2023/24 Update
Dear Members of the HHCC
Our Executive Board met on August 21st to discuss the future of our club and we are disheartened to announce that after an incredible journey spanning 37 years, we are unable to move ahead with our 23/24 season. This decision has not been an easy one, but it is a necessary step in light of the challenges we have faced, primarily due to the lack of volunteers who are essential to our success.
We owe immense gratitude to each and every one of you who has contributed your time, energy, and expertise over the years. It is your unwavering commitment that has allowed us to thrive for so long and your dedication and passion have been the driving force behind the endurance of our club. Together, we've embarked on countless photography outings, exhibitions, workshops, competitions and discussions that have not only enriched our skills but also our lives.
We encourage you to stay connected with your fellow members beyond the club's closure. Barb Redford has offered to continue to maintain our club eblasts for folks who wish to remain on our mailing list and stay up to date on community happenings or nostalgic photographic outings. Other camera clubs, social media groups, photography forums, and local events can also provide avenues to continue nurturing your passion for photography and maintaining the connections you've built.
Before we part ways, we are organizing a final gathering to celebrate the wonderful journey we've had together.
We will hold our final Club Night on:
Wednesday, October 4th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
in the downstairs Community Studio Room at the Georgetown Library.
This will be an informal drop-in and potluck. All members, past and present, are welcome to join us. Please bring some snacks to share and enjoy with your fellow members. We will also be discussing some of the options available if you wish to look for memberships or engagement elsewhere.
If we don't see you in October, we wish you all the best in your continued photographic pursuits and life's adventures.
Sincerely, The HHCC Executive Board
Karin McDonald, President
Barb Redford, Past President
Sonia Labbe, Treasurer
Dave Roberts, Secretary
Anne Fraser, Member at Large
John Whitton, Membership

Welcome to HHCC
Since its founding in 1987, the Halton Hills Camera Club proudly promoted awareness & education in the art of photography within the community of Halton Hills. It is a forum in which like-interested individuals could learn more about photography, develop and/or enhance their photographic skills, and broaden their photographic horizons.
Through its monthly meetings, scheduled monthly photographic shoots, impromptu outings, and competitions (in-club, inter-club and community), the Halton Hills Camera Club offered its members many opportunities for learning and development as well as a real sense of camaraderie.
