Saturday Morning ZOOm- monochrome
Lightroom and Photoshop are both powerful programs that can take your images to the next level. While Lightroom is very user friendly anything that can be done in it is also feasible in Photoshop, it just requires a few more steps.
Our Saturday zoom was focused on transforming images from colour to monochrome( mainly b+w) to show how this treatment can enhance an image beyond the natural view of the colour image. While we did some selective colouring to images this is NOT monochrome, as the nae implies monochrome can be any ONE colour, so sepia or blue toning would work as well as B+W but the entire image must have the same toning. I have attached below the PDF of the tips I speak about in the video, the example images I worked on - before and after, and the video of the zoom. Enjoy !
